I graduated in 1994 from the School of Restoration of Florence in Italy. After that I have been an assitant for the restoration of pictorial layers and retouching.
In order to broaden my knowledge of frames and sculptures I followed training courses where I learned the gold leaf gilding technique and the patinas.
I have been working since more than fifteen years:
First in my atelier in Florence and now here in France for gallery owners, antique dealers, individuals, churches, municipalities etc.
I restore paintings on canvas, wood and cardboard; sculptures and polychrome objects, frames.
I also do gold leaf gilding and patinas.
In addition to my experience, the passion for my work, my precision and my respect for art works contribute to the success of the restoration.
Since the end of my studies I have never stopped working. As a result I restored a great number of art works: antique and modern, small and large sizes.
The altarpiece of Pratovecchio (Florence) by Giovanni Bizelli, a XVI-century Florentine painter, that I restored with a Florentine restorer.
The altar picture "Donation du Rosaire" of Porri's Church in Corsica,
The altarpiece's frame of Fiesole's Church (Florence).
In addition to antique paintings I also work on XIX-century paintings since many years. My abilities became very broad and I master all the restoring techniques that I adapt for each art work.
I restored works by great artists such as Granet, Loubon, Vasarely, Papety, Adolphe Monticelli, Felix Ziem, Louis Mathieu Verdilhan, Auguste Chabaud, Jean Baptiste Olive, Alfred Casile, Paul Guigou, Raphael Ponson, Raymond Allègre, Charles Malfroy, Pierre Ambrogiani, Corbellini, Thomas Couture.
